A Brand New World...

As a die-hard science fiction and fantasy fan, I have often found myself saddened by the lack of attention to some of the authors, actors, and shows that I hold near and dear to my heart.  My purpose with this site is to give sci-fi and fantasy fans as a community a place to honor and respect the great artists, both old and new, whose ideas and characters live on in each and every one of us.  In addition to posting profiles of some of the (in my opinion) under appreciated greats, I will be posting recs for fan fiction, unknown and unpublished (except for online) original fiction, and fan art.  Submissions are welcome, as is any and all discussion (and even debate!!) so long as it is respectful to both the other visitors to this website, and to the many people who work so hard to provide us with a little escape from reality.
